Using Vector Vest I take the top 15 ranked based on vector vest's VST rating.
Anything above a 1.25 is usually considered a buy

Those that just missed the list (in order starting with best) are:
TSL, RIO, SILC, ATI, CAM, KRSL, HDNG, MW,MTW, X,WEBX,BBL,TIE,TESOF,STLD,WCG,AXE, DXPE
IMKTA,COH,SIMO,SSYS,GIL,HYSL,VMC,OYOG,MLM
DWSN,SII,MT,AVT,TSO

All others had a VST of 1.39 or lower

  • $10.86

easy decision... 1.6 VST rating, .235 PEG 15.21 Earnings yield, 63% sales growth and IBD Smart select composite ranking of 98... Also EPS rating of 95 and relative price strength of 99 Timing ranking of 1.91 may skew the VST, but even so it's still an almost unheard of VST 1.6

This one just hasn't shown much sign of slowing down yet, the safty rating is still a little weak, so set a reasonable stop based on what you want to risk. Personally I'm a little surprised it's still up this high, but I'm going to have to consider it as an aggressive play as the timing is an unbelievable 1.94. However, with oil seeming to near it's peak, and with BTJ already high, be careful and/or wait for a reasonable pullback. VST-1.57

My favorite... The highest VST with at least reasonable safty, and does not need an incredible timing ranking to skew the VST like the ones above it. Has the 2nd best Value Ranking next to MTW and a top 10 safty rating. 9.6 dividend yield on top of a dominant stock pick that's third overall in VST rating, 11th in IBD rating, and PEG of .6, EY of 9.8 VST 1.56

PCP is a drug addicts choice... but we're not talking about drugs, we're talking about precision castparts. This is a great stock, and even better when you combine it with something like TIE, FCX or maybe even PCU. It uses mostly Nickel and Titanium to create Aerospace equipment. This way you can only own 2 stocks and still be fairly diversified... If the value of Nickle or Titanium drops, PCP will get it at a discount and earn a greater profit margin... as a result PCP will offer you protection against nickle or Titanium, and perhaps even commodities in general... On the other hand, if the value of Nickle goes up, PCP might pay more for it, however, FCX will likely benefit from it, and PCP will raise the price a little to reflect the increased cost. It will not only protect you, but offer you greater upside Aside from being a great hedge against your commodities, it's an excellent stock that continues to rise above 100 VST 1.54

in just under a 3 wk period this method has yielded a 2.15% gain with a 66.6% win ratio... but in reality it's way better then that... GROW had a stock split and dividend payout so grow is marked as a huge loss when in reality it was a gain... if you ignore GROW the average gain in the 3 wk period is 4.9%
