On the "Hedge Against Every Risk With One Holding" portfolio (link: http://www.stockpickr.com/port/Hedge-Against-Every-Risk-The-U-S-Could-Face-With-1-Holding/), I stated how you could purchase oil drillers/exploration firms to hedge against a variety of U.S. risks, including dollar depreciation, negative affects of the U.S. current account deficit, etc...
However, when will those oil firms building up excess savings (and thus boosting the stock market/making the U.S. current account deficit worse) finally begin to spend their considerable amounts of free cash flow?
I guess what I'm trying to ask is: how can we most directly benefit from excess petrodollar savings until they finally do start spending a considerable amount of their excess free cash flow (heck, even when they start spending more, they still could have loads of free cash flow)?
Well, here are foreign oil companies that have been primary beneficiaries of rising oil prices - and whose stocks should have benefited greatly from recent excess savings.
Note that I am only adding those oil companies that would add to the deficit. In other words, I am only including foreign oil companies.
