The fund was founded in 2000 by Grange Johnson whose goal is to generate traditional LBO fund rates of return with public market liquidity. The fund utilizes an extensive bottoms-up approach to investing and typically has between 15-25 positions. The fund has averaged over 20%+ per year since inception.
