Moore Capital is a group of hedge funds with over $10 Billion in assets under management and is run by famed trader and fund manager Louis Bacon. Based out of Westport, CT, the group’s signature Moore Global Investments fund has returned an average of 24% per year since 1990, making Bacon one of the top fund managers of his generation.

Bacon is a discretionary trader with a global-macro approach to trading. He is a graduate of Middlebury College and has an MBA from Columbia Business School. He started his career at Shearson Lehman and traded for several years at the famed Commodities Corp, where fellow superstar fund managers Paul Tudor Jones and Bruce Kovner also made a name for themselves.
