New York Times on Activism - 3774 views

This week’s New York Times Magazine summarized a study on an idea we are big believers in: piggybacking Activist Hedge Funds can make you money. James explained the benefits of the strategy in an early blog post, and of course we house and regularly update the top holdings of the top activist funds on the site. Every week we update the Barron’s Activist Stocks portfolio, and blogger Mebane Faber of World Beta keeps track of Activist Consensus stocks, as in those owned by more then 1 activist fund.

Here are the top Activist Hedge Funds out there, along with their top holdings:

Shamrock

Barington Capital

Jana Partners

Carl Icahn

Chapman Capital

Third Point

Steel Partners

Pershing Square

Newcastle Partners

Fine Capital

Omid Malekan
